As 2011 approaches, it's time to start planning your New Year's resolution -- unless you're Nicole Kidman! The actress tells iVillage why you won't hear her vowing to hit the gym every day or stop biting her nails.
"I don't make New Year's resoultions," the Rabbit Hole star tells iVillage exclusively. "I just enter the new year with my family very calmly. I'm not a big party person. I think it's important to just take a step back and assess what's happened and be grateful for what's coming."
And it seems that exciting things are coming for the actress, 43, as her new film (which hits theaters Dec. 17) has earned her Golden Globe and SAG nominations, as well as tons of Oscar buzz.
"I'm grateful, flattered and hopeful," she says. "It's a little film -- a little fish in a big sea....This film was made with such love."
