Zsa Zsa Gabor to Be a Mom Again at 94?

Zsa Zsa Gabor to Be a Mom Again at 94?

Zsa Zsa Gabor is 94 years old and in very poor health (she recently had her leg amputated), but apparently she might be a mom again! Her husband of 25 years, 67-year-old Prince Frederic von Anhalt, says the couple plans to use an egg donor, artificial insemination and a surrogate mother to accomplish the process.

Von Anhalt, Gabor's ninth husband, told CNN recently, "I've gone through the initial steps of donor matching and blood work, and next week the donation process will begin."

Gabor's only other child, 64-year-old Francesca Hilton, the product of her second marriage to hotel magnate, Conrad Hilton, has denounced the news as a "weird" publicity stunt generated entirely by von Anhalt at the expense of her bedridden mother. Von Anhalt says that he doesn't "give a damn" what Hilton thinks, but he does admit that Gabor hasn't had much input in the matter. "I dont know if (Zsa Zsa) understands it," he told the Associated Press. "She doesn't talk very much to me. She talks about two sentences a day, so it's very hard to get anything out of her."

Von Anhalt took to The Joy Behar Show on Monday to defend his actions and to explain his reasons for wanting to have a baby. In what turned out to be a very rambunctious interview, von Anhalt told host Joy Behar that he and Gabor had always wanted a baby -- but they both lived in "the fast lane" and basically forgot about it. For decades. However, von Anhalt remembered, "We both played polo and she always wanted a little polo player... Maybe it's not too late. Let me see what I can do." Watch the interview below:

Von Anhalt also reveals that he has set the surrogacy process in motion by giving blood and sperm to the doctor, while the search is on for an egg donor. As for claims that he is trying to rob Francesca Hilton of her inheritance, von Anhalt flatly denies them. "My wife decided in 2005 who gets what, who has power of attorney," he said. "My wife cannot sign anymore... She can't talk, she can't sign. Everything is done years ago. So whatever I do now has nothing to do with her last will."

But it was when Behar questioned the wisdom of a couple of such advanced age bringing a child into the world, that von Anhalt really went off. "When the child is 20 years (old), and I'm still alive, believe me, they don't listen (to you) anyhow," he said. "Even if I was 50, they wouldn't listen!" And, for his critics, he had one final message: "It's nobody's business if I deliver sperm, it's nobody's business how I got off at the sperm bank... It's my life, and that's it!"
